Catherine Keller (born in 1953 in Paris) is a French artist and sculptor. Catherine is a former student of the ENSAAMA (National Superior School of Applied Arts), where she learnt sculpture and modelling from Volti. Then she started drawing and painting, especially watercolor painting. Her technique has evolved from her experience in plastic arts, mixing different materials and different techniques to let pigments act on their own. Some of her latest watercolors are the result of this approach. The picture frame is the accomplishment of several pieces. She maintains that each of them is essential, both complementary and indivisible from the subject it accompanies. She regularly shows her work and won an award in 2004 in Auvers-sur-Oise for her work ("Immergence" ).
